Come to Hico. Old Town Hico was built in the late 1890s, but it's alive again with new shops, restaurants, wine tasting, and a restored boutique hotel. Check out the new 2nd Street Provisions for barista style coffees and pastries and Silver Spur Winery's new tasting room. Grab a delicious lunch at Eis or Flacas. Shop at Heartland Atelier, Blue Star Trading, Sugar Moon Antiques, The Lace Cactus, Two Clay Birds, Opera House Antiques, and Hill Country Dwellings. Check out the Left-Handed Gun and Clint Newman's Leatherworks. And remember to take home delectables from Hico Popcorn Works and Wiseman House Chocolates.
We'll be hosting one of our favorite vendors this Saturday, June 24th, 10:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. Daniel Wright of W Durable Goods in Fort Worth will be packing his bags (literally) and traveling to Hico for a special pop-up market in the store. We've been proud to offer these fine quality travel bags and leather goods since we opened the store 4 years ago. Our customers love that they're handcrafted in Texas. Check out www.wdurablegoods.com and join us for a day of fun, refreshments, and door prizes...including a $100.00 Hill Country Dwellings gift card.
